Every Spring the biggest poetry event in town is the Deep Ellum Arts Festival. The poet stage is organized by Clebo Rainey, and features 3 days worth of poets from all around the Metroplex. Paul, Opal, and Carlos have been performing at this event since it's inception, and the OCCP have had a slot for 3 or 4 years ( It's hard to remember exactly!)
